At Home Wherever the Road Bends
|
Sanda Horeis
|
After a long career as a journalist and communication specialist, Sanda Horeis and her husband, Willie (a longtime educator and guidance counsellor, sometimes referred to as “The German”), sold their home and much of the items inside, gathered all their belongings into a motorhome, and started out on their retirement adventure. As they crisscrossed the country, Sanda wrote wonderfully insightful and often side-splitting accounts of their travel and RV camp experiences. At Home Wherever the Road Bends will bring you to your knees both in laughter and silent wonder.
The reader will enjoy her experiences with nomadic life, curious fellow travelers, quirky camping spots, surprising motor home adventures, and her beloved traveling companion, “The German.” It wasn’t always peaceful and fun, but Sanda wouldn’t have traded it for the world!
Sanda Horeis edited a newspaper and served as a communication specialist for a national church body before embarking on her great retirement adventure. She currently lives in Harlingen, Texas. She and her husband, Willie, have two children.
