John Bachman, Principal Anchor at WHOTV, Des Moines, Iowa, reflects on the stories of the good, the bad, and the ugly that he has brought to his viewers. He expresses those stories in short-line vignettes and puts the events of the day in the context of the Word of a compassionate God. John reminds the reader that the failures and achievements of humankind are not simply fleeting images on the television screen but are real events that happen to real people - ”people for whom a loving God cares.
In this book John turns the events of the evening news into vignettes of inspiration.
