This book is born out of the experience of one ministering in a congregational setting to the joys and sorrows of people struggling with a variety of life issues including homosexual experiences. The author addresses the critical questions regarding homosexuality from within the setting of the local church and seeks answers that are consistent with Scriptures and historic Christianity.
GROUP USAGE: The Leaders Guide for a study of Understanding Homosexuality presents a 13 session study of the book. The guide will allow combining sessions or a selection of topics most pertinent to the groups' interest.
David Glesne received a B.A. from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota, an M. Div. From Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN and a D. Min. from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. He has been a pastor at churches in Illinois, California, and Minnesota. Glesne currently serves on the faculties of the Master's Institute, a graduate level seminary, and the Lay Ministry Training Center, both in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. He and his wife, Mona, have four grown children.
