On a sunny day amidst the jubilant London crowds celebrating Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, Captain Stephen Hamilton finds himself in the prime of his life, living his childhood dream. With a beautiful wife, two loving children and a successful military career in one of England's finest regiments, his future and the world beckons. Until tragedy strikes and samsara moon takes us on Stephen Hamilton's journey of recovery. Through the turmoil of war and the changing landscape of the new century -- from the wind swept shores of western Ireland, to the immensity of the South African veld, to the halls of the British Raj in Calcutta, to the hills and tea gardens of Darjeeling, follow this epic tale of faith, conviction and personal evolution set on the grand stage of the vast British Empire.
S. H. Post's debut novel comes from layering his own experiences of tragic loss onto a historical milieu.
